Delightful Victorian home run by a delightful host. Arlene had lots of guidance on food and shared the homes history. Room had everything we needed with a generous helping of charm. Yard kitties were a great extra too.

We will certainly stay there on our next visit.

What a gem this place was. Arlene is such a great host and has many stories to tell we could have talked with her for hours. Breakfast was delicious, and the company of the other guests was was really nice. I would give this place a 10 if they had it. You won't go wrong staying here and we hope to make it back...

Right in the heart of old Colorado City in Colorado Springs. This Victorian house was very comfortable. Rooms are nice and the nostalgia is real! The host was very personable, accommodating, and will give you a history of the house and area. Communal breakfast was a treat. Was great to have a bite to eat and a nice chat with the host and guests. Will be back!
*Don't let the current face mask policy dissuade you from going. Thankfully, wasn't follwed in any meaningful way.

It's a very nice B&B. The room was very clean and comfortable, the food was excellent, and the location was good. What is unusual and the highlight for us was the community breakfast. Everyone eats breakfast at the same time (although we were the only guests that day). Hearing the history of the B&B and the personal history of the owner, Arlene, was the best part of the stay.

We had a great 2 night stay. The room was very nice and tidy and Arlene was a great host. Great location near plenty of restaurants, shopping, hiking trails and sight seeing locations. There isn't a TV in the rooms so bring a streaming device if ya prefer in room entertainment...found it quite nice to sit on our private balcony late into the night.

This is the place to stay! We stayed at Spurs & Lace for 5 nights and we cannot recommend this bed and breakfast enough! Arlene is a walking history book with so many stories, facts, and fun things to share. Breakfast was amazing! Enough that we could skip lunch since she prepared 3 separate dishes for us every day. It is also extremely central to Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs, perfect location for all of the big sites!

We enjoyed our stay at Spurs and Lace. Our hostess (Arlene) greeted us and made us feel very welcome. The B and B is a period home, and it was interesting to hear Arlene tell us about how it was moved several blocks to it's present location. It is only a block from the historic district. Lots of fine places to eat, as well as many shops. Breakfast in the morning was very good, and we enjoyed Arlene's "story time". We also enjoyed listening to music on Arlene's 1016 Victrola.

My husband and I wanted to get a bed and breakfast experience and we were not disappointed. The room was spacious with a fireplace and view of pike’s peak from the patio. The hostess on learning that I am a vegetarian took the extra effort to find an egg substitute for me for breakfast items and ensured I had vegetarian option for lunch and dinner as well. The couple who owns this place are lovely and have a good sense of humor. They ensure that each guest has a comfortable stay. Thank you for wonderful memories which we will treasure for years to come. Planning another visit soon 🙂
