Villa Giobatta - Barolo, Provincia di Cuneo

This was our third time staying in Langhe for vacation, but our first time staying at Villa Giobatta, and we couldn't have been happier. Previously we had stood at Villa Giobatta's other property (Locanda dell'Orso Bevitore). We loved our previous stays at Locanda dell'Orso Bevitore so much that we decided to try the brand new, recently opened Villa Giobatta, and we are very happy that we did. ||||Villa Giobatta is a farmhouse from the early 20th century that was beautifully restored in 2020. Located in the Cannubi vineyards in Barolo, we found the location to be ideal. Just a couple of minutes drive from the town of Barolo, and centrally located to other wineries and restaurants that we visited in Langhe's other cities such as Verduno, La Morra, Serralunga, Castiglione Falletto etc.||||The villa features a beautiful rooftop jacuzzi which provides a picturesque view of the famous Cannubi vineyards. We stayed in the "Alba 2" apartment which offers a full kitchen with stove, oven, dishwasher, large refrigerator and freezer, toaster oven, espresso capsule machine, and every possible kitchen utensil or convenience that one would require to prepare just about any meal. The apartment has a beautiful backyard patio area which featured table and chairs where we enjoyed breakfast daily with a beautiful view of the Cannubi vineyards. The patio offers very comfortable lounge chairs, a charcoal BBQ which we used to grill a delicious steak (costata) from Mario Bollano Macelleria.||||The apartment was furnished beautifully with impeccably restored antique furniture. The walls were painted using a beautiful color scheme which perfectly ascended the rest of the decor in the apartment, and was gorgeous. ||||In addition to all the aforementioned conveniences, the villa also provides guests access to a washing machine and dryer in a conveniently located communal area, along with a cellar to store your wines bottles, and access to 2 bicycles. All of which we utilized and loved.||||We absolutely loved our stay here and will be back very soon.

We were 3 couples and I highly recommend this accommodation with an atypical architecture that makes it really charming. The apartments are all fully equipped. Our host was very attentive and available throughout the stay. She even sent me back some things I had forgotten.
The place is sublime and well located for all the wine tastings and other activities.

Villa rénovée avec goût et très bien placé ! Oui mais voilà...
Le plus gros problème étant l impossibilité de passer une nuit convenable à cause du système de climatisation qui même éteint faisait un bruit de tracteur à de multiples reprises jour et nuit.
Si vous aimez les odeurs de fosses septiques sur la terrasse ou devant votre chambre, c est le bon endroit.
Si vous aimez être filmé pendant vos vacances sur la terrasse ou dans la petite piscine c est aussi votre choix mais n espérez pas un geste de la propriétaire qui renvoi la responsabilité a l installateur de la climatisation... cela se passe de commentaires
Je vous passe les autres petits désagréments et vous laisse les découvrir ...

We have stayed at their other property and were so excited to stay here. Cristina was so helpful in coordinating the reservation. Unfortunately a medical emergency forced us to first have a late arrival, and eventually cancel the reservation. They did not charge us anything despite our attempts to pay given the last minute nature of the situation. Exceptional hospitality we really hope to visit in the future.
