Lived here three years. Love the amenities and location. The staff/management is atrocious! You could not have more rude, inconsiderate, unhelpful and disrespectful people. In my three years there, two friendly associates whom left because of the attitudes and the rest were the most god awful ignorant people I have ever encountered. It ruined my experience and has forever steered me away from UDR. On top of it I reported a leaking pipe my first year to the staff. Nothing was done. My Mercedes had to be polished and my paint will never be the same. Over the next two years I reported the leak 3 more times. Again nothing done. You are expected to do everything promptly but they do nothing. The only response I got was a new parking place another floor down. I finally rigged my own Contraption. For the price you pay, you should be treated much better. Their rules are ridiculous. This place has the opportunity to be amazing . Fire everyone there and start new. One in particular, The lady in the front office with the curly hair is absolutely atrocious. I have witnessed her treating people Like dirt time and time again. She should be Immediately fired. I am now at the Villas in Newport Beach and let me tell you, their staff is amazing! I will only go with Irvine Company now

This complex is the best community I have EVER lived in. We all love it here soooo much!! First off, the leasing office is absolutely incredible especially Tori who has gone above and beyond throughout my years here to help me and advise the best she can! She's always been supportive and always looks for feedback for resident ideas as well as requests from the community. She plans the best resident events and the community overall has great partners at pacific city as well as down town Huntington Beach. Top dog has thrown parties here! We have wine Wednesdays! Bouquet making events! Such fun movie nights and much much more!
Tori always answers calls, emails and my texts to the leasing office promptly and professionally. She has been such a great friend to me since I've moved in. I am 100% comfortable going to the leasing office with any kind of concern, question or advice they're always there to help me, answer my questions and find quick solutions.
The maintenance team is reliable and efficient they get Maintence requests done sometimes within 30 minutes of submitting one of the very user friendly UDR app.
This complex and community truly feels like home. The people here are great, I have made life long friends. There is always something going on and something to do so it's a great community to relocate to! The amenities are absolutely stunning, the gym has everything you could want even a stair master! We've celebrated wonderful holidays in the common areas together and have so many memories here.
It is such a dog friendly area and you would never even know, the dogs are all so well behaved, quiet, calm and the complex is so SO clean. Every morning when I am walking to 5am Pilates they're disinfecting and cleaning the sidewalks, windows and pool paying attention to fine detail. All of the employees seem so happy no matter what department they work for which just shows they must be treated so well! I am comfortable and safe at home. I highly recommend this place!! I've lived here since 2019 and look forward to many more years!! I have everything I need right here in this little bubble! The only thing I'd request would be a sauna!! Thank you so much for everything Tori and the residences at pacific city!! I feel so blessed to live here everyday! Every "upgrade" or "improvement" costs more money with less features and functionality.

Be sure to look at all the hidden costs before renting here.

They recently "upgraded" the EV chargers to ones that cost almost twice as much. The new brand does not notify you when your car is done charging but will charge you $10 an hour if you don't remove the car when it's done charging.

The previous chargers would notify you, and only charged $4 an hour if you failed to move your car.

A new mandatory $70 monthly charge was added in addition to rent for community wifi whether you use it or not. This is in addition to the Internet service you pay for in your unit.

This the best community i ever lived! Best relations with the community and personal. They help a lot and it feels like they carry me as a mother! Very careful! So many pluses here as a great amenities, quiet space, big windows, very good sound isolation? Wifi in whole building and much more!

But most important it is a people as a Carlos, Tori, Hailei who work here! I’m an immigrant in this country and those guys and that place makes me feel i’m at home. It is a priceless! 7 stars out of 5!

EDIT: The management is awful and terrible - my only reason to not renew the lease and move out. They’re arrogant, not flexible and slow. Maintenance takes 2-3 weeks to respond to requests. Toilets keeps flooding/leaking and if you’re paying more for a 2BR/BA then your toilet issue is not urgent and will be taken care during “normal business hours”. The only plus point is the location.

I’ve been here since Dec 2020 and I absolutely love this place. The maintenance team is solid and prompt. The amenities have now opened up and the atmosphere here is buzzing again. The swimming pool is cleaned regularly and facilities are maintained extremely well.

The location is the only thing going for it. Apartment staff is nice enough but the parent company UDR is horrible. Can never reach anyone, they will ignore your emails for weeks and never answer the phone. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. When you talk to the apt staff they are helpless and cannot escalate issues to the proper entities. Even corporate does not answer their phones. The billing department is the biggest culprit I don’t know how any of them still have their jobs

Drove almost a hour to tour this place and scheduled a tour but was running 30 mins late to make it there at 5 PM. We let the leasing office know we’d be there at 5 PM and they said that it’s ok and we can still come. We get there and leasing office states they close at 530 but turned us away at 5 PM…. Why say you close at 530 but turn us away at 5 then… maybe change your hours We didn’t mind seeing the unit quickly. Also it’s a self guided tour so we didnt even need the leasing people anyway… make it make sense. Anyway because of this, we don’t even wanna bother to tour again.. so ridiculous.

The pool maintenance is horrible. I have lived here for months and both the Large TV at the pool and the adult hot tub has not worked properly at all. Its the summer time and its unacceptable to allow these basic issues to go unrepaired, especially a simple pool jet system. All i get are excuses from the management and the rent is sky high. Not happy
