Been living here for about a year now and my experience has been great! Rob and Willa (the building managers) are incredibly kind and responsive. The building is always super clean and pretty quiet. Happiest I've been at an apartment in LA. Highly recommend.

Yes, I agree. It is totally overpriced and the floor plans are not functional and not very well. Thought out also for this location. They are asking way too much money. It is in the middle of one of the worst places in Los Angeles, Woodman and furthermore, it just doesn’t have the finishing or the accoutrements that much of the high-end places that I stay at have I would not agree at all that somebody should live here or put any application in. They will be sadly upset and disheartening and probably have to leave their lease early.

Love living here. Willa is the best! She’s been so helpful at every turn. Clean and new. Neighbors are friendly. My family and I feel very safe. And the views are great. Small number of units. So not too many people. Parking is easy in the gated garage. Very pet friendly too.

Excessive stolen packages! In the last two months, I have had $600 worth of packages stolen from my door step. The first time it happened, I had been out of town for a week, so I wasn't too upset because I know that it was left there for a few days. Then, about a week later within an hour of my package being at my door step someone took one of the three packages that were there. (Confirmed three packages by an amazon photo.) I reached out to management, and they did not follow up with me about checking cameras until I reached out again weeks later, and they said the cameras did not reach the hallway by my door. The stolen packages have stopped for a few weeks, until I noticed that another delivery that amazon confirmed via photo was taken on the 20th. This is insane, I know it happens and management isn't necessarily responsible, but for it to be this excessive in a building where rent is $4,000 and no cameras to see who is doing it is just crazy. I could go on about issues I have had like my upstairs toilet being out of order for weeks when I first moved in, but I highly would not recommend this building if you value security.

We all long for a place to call home, and I never truly felt that sense of safety, fulfillment, and happiness until I found The Residences at 5020. When I walk through the halls, there’s a palpable sense of community that fills the air—it's like a warm, welcoming energy that’s as comforting as the air fresheners used by our amazing cleaning staff. During the summer months, I spent my days lounging by the pool, soaking up the sun and enjoying the Glendale breeze. My cat, Tenenbaum (named after the family in Wes Anderson’s The Royal Tenenbaums), definitely agrees—he’s purrfectly happy here too!

I do not recommend applying or living in this apartment. First off, expecting applicants to have a 720 credit score is really aiming for the stars when the surrounding buildings more than likely aren’t even paying over $2k in rent. In a way they are discriminating against certain demographics by declining anyone with anything lower than a 720 credit score. It appears they are aiming to only lease to trust fund kids like themselves.

Also the website is not even up to apply so they are using paper applications as if we’re still in 1990 something. It’s much easier for people to falsify documents when they aren’t electronic (duh). Scammers out here can get fake credit reports as well.

The property managers are clearly a bit in over their heads and lack the experience of what they are trying to portray. Even when I asked about the credit score he had to guess that a 720 was required, a bit suspicious if you ask me.

Also, there aren’t many one bedroom apartments on the second floor, only 3-4 bedroom apartments. Meaning the most noise will be coming from the highest floor which is a bit backwards. If someone is living in a one bedroom in the second floor, why on earth would they want to live below a 4 bedroom apartment which will probably have children running around.

Edit: I hope the white dude that wanted to call out my accurate review is enjoying a very empty homogenous and vacant apartment building lol. Wouldn’t expect you to be able to relate.
