Our stay at the historic inn was wonderful! Matt and Mick were incredibly warm and hospitable, and made us feel like we were staying with family. Our room was cozy, and the bed was SO comfortable. Although our unit had a shared bathroom, it was always kept impeccably clean and we never ran into any schedule conflicts. One of the many highlights was the home-cooked breakfast with Mocha and the pups. We also spent much of our free time lounging in the private yard, which had a hot tub, dining space, and fire pit. The inn is pet-friendly, which was a HUGE plus, since we were traveling with our dog. We will definitely be staying here in the future!

This place is EVERYTHING YOURE HOPING FOR! We pulled up at 10:45pm hesitant they would not be happy with us after visiting another couple other hotels who didn’t come to the desk! We were warmly welcomed and got a tour of the place even at night! The owner and his wife were extremely friendly, place was VERY clean, and had an awesome story to it. We were treated to a personalized, home cooked breakfast every morning! My fiance and I hope to come back here for our wedding in the near future! We loved hanging out with Mocha (the golden) and the two tiny chihuahuas! Beautiful views, vintage rooms, & COMFORTABLE beds! The value you get is insane! Wish we could give more than 5 stars! We REALLY liked the big suite. It was so nice to end the day in the hot tub too! Can’t recommend this place enough.

The current owner, Matt, has owned the Alma house for 2 years. If you read any reviews before 2022 they reflect on the previous owner.||Matt is a friendly laid back person, also a great cook. The location was well maintained and the landscaping is beautiful. A lot of chairs and a swing in the back to enjoy the fresh outdoors. There is also a parlor to enjoy in the evening if you wish. The room was clean and comfortable. Loved the decorations. ||We also enjoyed the jeep tour the next morning. Matt was informative and the prices was less than anywhere else in town. A nice bonus for staying there. He also has a friendly golden retriever who loves to ride if you want a companion on the ride. ||My father and I really enjoyed staying here and if we get back to the area will definitely stay here again.

This was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast so I was a little leary. We absolutely LOVED it! A beautiful historic home with every amenity you'd need. Matt, the host was so nice and accommodating. Would highly recommend!!

I just completed a first time stay at the Alma House. This is a GREAT place to stay. The location is right in the heart of town but off the main street so it is quiet. My room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel features a beautiful backyard area with a table and hot tub. The managers are welcoming and gave me very helpful advice on local hiking trails. I highly recommend this property for stays in Silverton!

My family of four stayed in the General Palmer room and loved our time in Silverton. The room is a true suite with a slide out door to separate the living room from the bedroom. Our host was courteous, responsive, and served some delicious food. The weather in July was fantastic as well, Silverton had highs around 75 f while Denver approached 100!

My fiancé proposed to me in this quaint town and beautiful Inn. The experience is one I will never forget! Great hospitality from the owners, Matt and Micki! In the morning you awake, the hot delicious coffee awaits you along with a hot, delicious, and welcoming breakfast. I absolutely loved the rich history of the Alma Inn. The scenic mountain view and the crisp, cool breeze off the Juan Mtns. is just enough to grab a blanket, hot cup of joe, and sit by a warm, cozy fire. I could go on and on, but I think you can image this experience, and I highly recommend you to visit this historic town. Blessings to the owners! Your hospitality has been a wonderful experience! We shall be back again. If I could rate a 10, I definitely would.
