My unit got flooded due to a leak/washing machine issue upstairs. I notified the maintenance emergency line and it was nearly an hour later before I received contact. Later after the water leaking/flooding issues stopped, a restoration company stopped at my unit installing fans, saying they had to be on. This was at 9pm at night. Try sleeping with five of them on, its not happening. The management has not been helpful at all, no offering for me to stay at a model, or put me in a hotel. Just told the fans need to stay on, deal with it. Even though this disturbs my work, and my dog on top of it. Horrible, horrible service. Also garbage pick up is terrible, at least once per week, the dumpsters are so full there is garbage piled up in front of the dumpster. In fact it has gotten worse after the complex decided to add a $7.50 monthly add on charge. I've seen dumpster divers rummaging through the trash, feral cats around the trash. Need I go on? Consider other options, especially for the money charged here

Typically I don’t write reviews but I am truly impressed with the property manager Billy Franco here. He really cares about his residents and whenever I have a question or concern it is addressed quickly and promptly. The entire staff has been an absolute pleasure to work with. How refreshing to work with a team such as theirs.

UPDATE: I moved out because of noise on E McDowell Rd, the amenities were not available for a long time in 2020 and they did not reduce the rent price, but increased it.

Just like it. It's my first experience of apartment leasing. The office and service staff is polite, patient and aware. Since I'm new in such kind of deals, I guess I am not an easy resident. All my doubts were solved and I moved into my home in time.

They don’t have good standards for how the property looks. They allow people to pile things on their balconies and are okay with it looking like a mini junk yard. When told about it they simply say that they have no rules. Another example is the light that hangs outside of my apartment has been hanging by the wires for 4 months. When told about it they laughed at my request to fix it. It not a good place to rent from.

Apartments are nice and office/maintenance are good folks. This is in a rough area, and if you're on the west-facing side, ask for another unit. The "apartments" next to the complex are loud, rude, and will keep you awake almost every night. We had good neighbors, no bug issues, and overall a good experience. Be careful on your move out, that's all I'll say about that.

Updating this review: For some reason, I had a few packages "delivered" to the old apartment, by accident. The packages were either lost or stolen, and the office did NOTHING to accommodate. If you need a real eye-opener about living here, just drive around in a two-block radius. I lived in Detroit for 3 years, and this area is way more dangerous/ghetto than anywhere I lived near the DET, that 31-3.

So far it has been nice. We enjoy walks both at night and during the day. The pool is kept very clean, and it gets quiet around here pretty early on. So far we are loving this new apartment.

As of today it has been 3 weeks without ac in the master bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. There has been a severe lack of communication between the office, the vendors and myself and I STILL have no update on when this will be fixed. 82° is unbearably hot inside during the summer, not to mention the increase in the electricity bill due to having multiple fans running to try and keep the apt cool. I have had to miss out on work due to being given the run around on when someone will be entering my apartment, yet I'm still being charged full rent. I am beyond frustrated at this point and do not recommend living here. The photo is a picture of the temp in the room at 6:45am.
UPDATE: Since I am unable to reply directly to the response, for clarity this review was written on a Tuesday (today is Thursday) and as stated I had not heard from anyone in the office regarding when the ac would be fixed so we hadn't been speaking "all this week". Had I not reached out to the HVAC company myself, there would have been no follow up because according to the email that was received AFTER reaching out to corporate and posting this review the property manager stated "I was under the impression that the vendor who came out Thursday took care of the issue." I still have not received a response to the email sent Tuesday at 3:30pm and thus will have to reach out again for an update.
Furthermore, I was told by the office that the vendor was coming between 2-5pm and made arrangements to have someone in the home to secure the dogs. The vendor instead came at 11am which is not what was discussed and planned for. To imply on a public forum that I am somehow at fault for a rescheduling that had to occur due to dogs not being put away is not only false but bad business practice, unethical and bad customer service as well.
