I almost, selfishly, don’t want to leave this review because I still want the availability next time I come back! But, rightly due, here goes.
As far as location, you really can’t get much better.
For the cleanliness of the location, it’s impeccable! One of the things we loved best was that they gave clean “house shoes” (brand new crocs) to everyone to use! This helped keep the outside dirt down and was a great method that kept us clean and comfortable.
Now, for hospitality, A MILLION STARS OVER AND OVER AGAIN!!!!!! Tamara and Todd made id feel SO welcome! Even after not completing the online reservation, calling after hours and then having to come to the location while they were off to help us check in. The appreciation they show their guests has been incredible.
The breakfast was wonderful as you’ve hopefully already read. And the compete vibe of the whole property was just amazing!!!!!
Thank you to Todd, Tamara and the whole team at Mein Haus for the hospitality, accommodations and for making us feel like family! We’re already planning on staying on our next trip back! Can’t wait!!!!

Fun bed and breakfast. Homemade breakfast was lovely - blueberry cream cheese French toast, homemade breads, green chili egg puff was delicious. Exactly what we needed. Couple who runs it are lovely. ?

Todd and Tamera do an excellent job of making Mein Haus an enjoyable stay. As a traveler who used to enjoy hostels, they have managed to emulate similar opportunity to meet guests (third are from Denver, third around U.S. and remainder international) in an upscale environment. I visited for a long holiday weekend with my girlfriend and we loved the stay. Highly recommend for small groups and would encourage guests to ask for ideas as the owners are very knowledgeable and accommodating. Thanks!

Best kept secret in Avon / Vail. Clean, convenient location, AMAZING BREAKFAST, and friendly hosts! Whether skiing Vail or Beaver Creek, they fill you up with homemade breakfast for energy to go all day. Just a short walk to Beaver Gondola or the free Vail bus. The hot tub was nice. I hesitated to leave this good review because I don't want them to be full the next time I go, lol.

Thanks to Todd & Tamera for being outstanding hosts. My hubbie and I tend to keep to ourselves. The family oriented breakfast in the HUGE 2 kitchen area was inviting and often filled with conversation and laughter. Tamera spoils everyone by making special foods for folks with allergies. Exceptional! We were allowed to use the washer and dryer free of charge. (Thanks!) I have read other reviews commenting on the no shoes policy. Completely reasonably to not want wet snowy, muddy shoes in your home! They do provide you with Crocs to wear inside. I just wore my socks while inside and it was fine. I had to LOL that some folks thought the 2 mannequins were creepy! ? I loved them and thought they were fun. I greeted the red-headed mannequin several times. Very pretty. 🙂 Most hotels have cameras in the kitchen and lobby areas. We loved our stay and our room. Very safe area. I walked alone to City Market and 2 restaurants while there. Highly recommend. Mein Haus is the perfect option for your vail/Avon getaway. My spouse and I had the privilege of staying here during one of the the worst snowfalls of our lives. We were almost grateful this happened because we got to spend more time on this awesome property. Mein Haus has the perfect amount of amenities from a hot tub, to sled gear, to awesome breakfast courtesy of our host Tamera. Shoutout to both Todd and Tamera for helping us through out vacation, they gave excellent advice of what to do in the area since we still had plenty of time to enjoy what was local. the property has wonderful bedrooms and a great public full of amenities likes board games, cable tv, xbox one, and more. Our host Tamera was so kind and experienced that she checked the roads ahead of time so we knew which roads were safe to take; you can't get any better than that!

Next time we stay in the area we'll surely be back at Mein Haus!
