An absolutely fabulous experience! From the authentically warm greeting received from Sandy and Joe to an almost sad goodbye, our stay at the Magnolia Inn was magnificent. The Inn itself is beyond charming and our room (the carriage house) was warm, comfortable, immaculate, perfectly decorated, and exceeded all expectations. But . . . the magic can be found in the hearts of our hosts. They truly connect and make their home your home. You are welcomed like family. Breakfast is a gourmet event, not a meal, and prepared exquisitely. The location is ideal and the grounds tranquil. If you are visiting Mt Dora and lucky enough to reserve a room at The Magnolia. know you have made the right choice. It doesn't get any better.

Wonderful place to stay. You feel more like family than a guest. Joe and Sandy are super people determined to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. As a widow traveling alone it is an enjoyable refuge. I will definitely be back.|The large home has a 1920 feel with very modern amenities. The great room is a terrific place to rest and enjoy meeting the other guests.

My husband and I spent the weekend with my sister and her husband at the Magnolia. It is a true bed and breakfast, beautifully appointed to the smallest detail. The inn owners, Joe & Sandy, couldn't be nicer and the breakfasts were amazing. The inn is 2 blocks from downtown Mt. Dora and we didn't have to get in our car at all. There is also a spacious sitting area on the 1st floor of the inn where coffee and tea, as well as cookies, are available all day, and seating space outside at the back of the inn which is perfect for relaxing. This was our 1st time in Mt Dora and we will not stay anywhere else when we return.

Our entire stay was excellent, the hosts obviously love what they do and it shows in every aspect including the wonderful home cooked breakfasts. You can walk right to the downtown area easily. We will definitely be coming back again, Mt Dora is a beautiful town to visit.

This was our second visit to Magnolia Inn Bed & Breakfast, and will definitely go back again! The sheets and towels are amazing, the hosts are wonderful, and everything about this place leaves you wanting more! We rarely go back to places (we LOVE to explore new places!) but Magnolia Inn is definitely on our list to return to again.

We opted for a stress-free Christmas and instead of dragging out all the decorations at home, took advantage of all the beautiful decorations in Mt. Dora and the Magnolia Inn. It turned out to be a memorable holiday, with all the comforts and atmosphere of Christmas at home without the hassle. Warm, gracious hosts, great food, and wonderful company, with the Hallmark Christmas atmosphere of Mt. Dora just a few blocks away. Can’t recommend The Magnolia Inn highly enough, at any time of year!

The hosts try hard and are pleasant. We stayed for several nights in the cottage which is in back of main house. Very private. Could use blackout curtains for bedroom as still bright at night. Faux fireplace was a lovely touch. The full kitchen that was advertised had no pots and pans. Unable to cook anything........

Sandy and Joe are wonderful hosts and have a great vision for the inn. The inn is ideally located; only a quick walk into quaint downtown Mount Dora. Our room was comfortable and well appointed. We were very pleased with the visit and highly recommend Magnolia Inn.
