This place is a combination of poor property management and inconsiderate residents. I don't understand how this community has such a high rating. My husband and I were residents for 3 years here. The first two were not bad which was why we renewed our lease for a third. However, we noticed as time went on that the quality of the property management went downhill. This complex used to be very well maintained when we first moved in. Our last year here, that was definitely not the case. The pool was constantly down on and off for maintenance, a ton of the gates (pedestrian and vehicle) were broken, and the landscaping was overgrown most of the time. What is the point of being advertised as a gated community when the gates didn't even work half the time?

On top of all that, management does NOT enforce the community rules at all. The recycling and trash compactor areas were always complete messes with piles of trash collected outside of the actual dumpster areas the majority of the time. People don't pick up after their dogs so there was always poop piles in the dog parks. Speaking of the dog park, there was a constant moldy area near the dog water fountain that was not repaired for MONTHS. For valet trash, residents are supposed to leave their bins out after 6 pm and bring them inside in the morning. However, our neighbors would leave out trash at all hours of the day in the breezeways in the middle of Florida summer which caused it to stink. Our neighbors in particular would leave half full bottles of ROTTEN MILK sitting out that wouldn't be collected for days. They weren't supposed to leave out any unbagged items.

If it was just the amenity/outdoor property maintenance issues, I probably could have lived with it. The icing on the cake was the fact that our AC unit was constantly breaking practically once a month during our last year here. Maintenance would come and do some sort of temporary fix only for it to go down a few days later. This summer before we moved out our AC was down for THREE DAYS STRAIGHT. They gave us a temporary unit that was so loud and noisy we could barely sleep and it didn't cool down the room that much.

We also had a new neighbor that moved in above us with a German Shepard. The rules are that you cannot leave a dog on the balcony/patio with a closed door so that the dog can have access to water. However, we witnessed several instances where the dog was left out on the balcony for extended periods of time barking nonstop and waking us up early on the weekends. I complained to management who said they would address it, however the next day that dog was back barking again.

I would like to think that we were "low maintenance residents" in that we submitted maintenance requests when things broke down and I did submit complaints to management regarding the lack of the community rule enforcement like 3-4 times over a 3-year time span. I gave two stars instead of one because they actually were fair in the move-out inspection and we got the majority of our security deposit back. However, I really think that these reviews do not reflect how this property really is.

If you want somewhere where management won't enforce rules and you can be as dirty as you want, this is the place for you. You can leave your trash in the breezeway and outside of the dumpster and not pick up after your dogs. Basically you can contribute to making this "luxury" community look like the trash it really is. Tessa went above and beyond to make sure everything before and after move in went smoothly, making our move in day a 10/10 experience. She answered any question big or small and made us truly feel welcomed and at home here. I also want to mention the maintenance staff here has been so extremely helpful making sure anything that needed fixing was done in a timely and professional manner. Me and my family moved to legacy 2 weeks ago and thanks to Carla our move went smooth. Carla was very attentive and would respond to my emails within hours. The community is very homey and great for kids as there is a playground. Would recommend to anyone looking for a new place to call home.

We moved in a little over a week ago and we love it so far! The apartment was perfect and the complex has really luxurious amenities. Sierra helped us during the whole process and answered every question that we had. Maintenance has done an excellent service as well if we needed to have something fixed they would help us right away. Definitely would recommend to anyone who is looking for a new place to move in ?

We have lived here for two months now and we are very impressed with everything from the resort style pool to the highly motivated and efficient staff. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the ammentities are top notch. The location is perfect and we are located near all the tourist locations but still have peace and quiet in the neighborhood. The staff is very helpful and they address any concerns immediately. The maintenance team responds quickly to any work orders and are quick and efficient. Overall this is the best place we have lived and thanks to the staff for making us not only feel at home but like we are VIPs.
