Great location. Easy walk to restaurants and shopping. We stayed in Sarah’s Secret cottage with a nice outdoor jacuzzi overlooking the creek. Not a “hot tub” more a warm jacuzzi. Nice kitchenette with mini fridge (no freezer), Kuerig with plenty of coffee and tea. Not really a bed and breakfast - only coffee and tea. There’s a giant HEB across the creek and a highway 1/2 block away, so there was a lot of road noise. We also saw deer and squirrels at the feeder right outside our picture window! Creek was low and sluggish in early March when we visited.

Serene and relaxing w/great walkability to Main Street and great restaurants. Nicely manicured grounds on creek side. Stayed in main house…Sandy’s Serenity…large, luxurious accommodations for any type of stay..romantic ambiance ❣️highly recommend as a grand but cozy home base as you explore the amazing historical town that is Fredericksburg ?suggestions for activities..climb nearby Enchanted Rock, visit local wineries and (highly recommend the bratwurst @German brewery) …many delicious nearby restaurants! Bonus in April for us were bluebonnets in full glory !

My husband and I had the chance to get away to Fredericksburg, TX for a weekend. We stayed at Kelly's Creekside in the Leah's Loft room.
Pros:
~Perfect location, walking distance to the main shopping. We walked to all the restaurants we wanted to eat at but one. You can also walk to HEB from the location. Very quiet/private, there are woods behind the B&B.
~Little amenities provided that make it easier for you such as shampoo/conditioner/body wash, coffee pods and creamer, plenty of towels/robes. There was a small refrigerator and extra sink outside of the bathroom.
~Very cozy, quiet, romantic.
~Private parking spot in a covered space.

Cons:
~No extra blanket. I sleep cold and it was a bit chilly this weekend. There was only a sheet and a thin blanket on the bed.
~The bed was not very comfy. Both hubby and I woke up stiff in the morning.
~The "hot tub" was more of a "warm tub". The temp was set to 98 degrees and we were asked not to change it, so we didn't, but it felt like soaking in luke-warm water. Also, the water needed to be cleaned. There were floaties in it. We don't know what they were, but not exactly conducive to relaxation.
~The shower was tiny and the shower head really needed to be replaced. It leaked on the side and just wasn't great. I only showered once the whole weekend because it was so cramped. There's no real fix for this as space is limited, but they could replace the shower head.

Overall, we felt it was a nice space for the price, and we would probably stay at Kelly's Creekside again, though we might splurge for the larger space. The location really is what sells it. So easy to get around. We had a lovely weekend!

Enjoyed my stay. Close to the main shopping downtown but could see deer roaming along the creek. Hot tub was not convenient to use.

The room that we stood in had a horrible odor that ended up on our clothes when we arrived back home. The room was Erin's escape and I think we would have smelled better had we jumped in the creek. Disappointing.
