The Inn featured a comfortable suite of living room, bedroom and bath with views of the bay, Angel Island and the Golden Gate. Wine, cheese and snacks in the evening. A continental breakfast buffet in the morning with coffee and hot drinks available pretty much available all day. The outstanding feature of this place is the Presidio itself, a retired Army base with many miles of trails and paved walkways. During the week, the place was very quiet though the few restaurants on the grounds were completely booked. I don't think I'll ever stay anywhere else in San Francisco. This trip totally spoiled us. Easy walking access to the Marina, Richmond and Sunset districts.

We selected the Inn because we wanted a suite with plenty of room. No regrets. Clean and quiet.||||Staff is very friendly and helpful. One evening, we ran into the manager at the fire pit. We had a great chat about the history of the Presidio and things to see and do. He was on his way home for the day and didn't have to stop and talk to us, but he took the time and was in no way hurried or rushed. We were very impressed.

I had a delightful stay at the Inn at the Presidio! The greatest advantage about this property is the location, as the Presidio grounds are stunning; however, the inn itself is a quaint gem. I enjoyed the continental breakfast each morning and I had wonderful interactions with the staff at the inn. As a disclaimer, this is an older building, meaning that if there are some noisy guests in the hall, you’ll probably hear them. Additionally there is no air-conditioning, which usually is not a problem in SF, but I did happen to be there during a “heat wave”. That being I would gladly return to this hotel, regardless of the weather.

The Inn at the Presidio is an oasis in the heart of San Francisco. You are greeted with a private parking area to the rear of the Inn, and a beautiful front porch along the entire width of the building. Inside delightful and professional staff see to your every need. Rooms were sparkling clean with great views of the presidio, bay, and a peek of the golden gate. Rooms have been updated but still retain that early 1900s charm. Strolling through the common areas with big band music playing you’d swear that General Pershing will come around the corner at any minute. Evening wine and cheese can’t be beat, with a cozy outdoor sitting area provided with a gas fire pit. Breakfast is amazing, with a nod to the classic European style breakfast. Best part: we were able to stay with our Terrier. Easy to walk to the bridge and fisherman’s wharf. Will be coming back, no doubt.

We really liked staying here. Easy to get to various places on the bus or by Lyft/Uber, but in a quiet neighborhood with so much history and walking trails right out the back. I heard Great Horned Owls two out of three nights. The evening wine/charcuterie is a nice touch.

I do wish they had EV charging available, but I'd definitely stay here again.

Had an excellent time here. Our room had a beautiful view of the San Francisco Bay and the Golden Gate Bridge. We were treated to a great charcuterie and wine spread in the evening and a delicious breakfast in the morning. The location is perfect for exploring San Francisco. The fire pit in the back along with the delicious cookies added to our experience.

The Inn at Presidio is a beautiful tranquil place to stay. Adhering closely to its historical roots it provides all the amenities you could possibly need . The breakfast sets you up for the day and the cheese wine and cookies is a real treat at the end of it . All staff are so very friendly, polite and helpful nothing is too much trouble, thank you all at the Inn for making our short break so memorable, we have only left a couple of hours and we miss it already, Thank you again .
