We stayed here 3 nights for my sister’s wedding at the nearby Fischer Dance Hall and it was such a great experience. We had most of the bride & groom’s family staying at the Inn coming & going on different days- the owners were so accommodating and welcoming. We even had the rehearsal dinner on property. Diana is an amazing cook, her breakfasts are to die for! The rooms are beautiful & spacious and the views are stunning. Having hot tub access was awesome, especially after dancing all night at the wedding. Whether you’re looking for a place to stay with family, friends, or a couples getaway, this is the place you want to be.

If you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful place to stay, but only a short drive to different towns and things to do, this is the place for you. We stayed six nights in the winters mill cabin and it was wonderful as usual as this is our second time visiting the Inn at Sunset Mill. It will always be our go to place when we are in the area. Diana creates a warm and inviting environment and the rooms are comfortable and spacious and decorated with an eye for detail. We had an unexpected event as our vehicle broke down on the second day we were there, and Diana went above and beyond, not only recommending a trustworthy local mechanic, but taking us where we needed to go to make sure that everything was taken care of. We stayed in our cabin for a few days, just relaxing and walking the trails and enjoying the deer, rabbits and turkeys along with the beautiful view. In addition to all this, we got to look forward to the morning breakfast that Diana prepared as well as her home baked treats. We just wanna thank you Diana for making our stay comfortable and helping us with everything that happened. We really do appreciate you.

The Inn at Sunset Mill Ranch may have been one of my shortest vacations, but quickly ended up being a favorite. Visiting from New York City for 3 days– we didn’t know what to expect in Texas Hill Country and found the best of it at the Inn. We spent two nights in the Airstream & had the best experience in every way possible. Diana’s property is stunning, and all her personal touches are perfectly curated for the environment she’s created for her guests. She is kind, welcoming, and the most amazing cook. We felt very at home, relaxed, and eager to share our wonderful experiences with loved ones back in the City. I cannot say enough, good things about Diana and the Inn at Sunset Mill Ranch. Texas (& Diana), we’ll be back!

Diana was very helpful and kind. She made sure we felt comfortable and were enjoying our stay at all times. The view was spectacular with beautiful sunset and starry sky. Homemade delicious breakfast was served every morning with freshly brewed coffee. Rooms were modern and clean. Highly recommend this lovely place!

We went to the inn to celebrate our third wedding anniversary and it was the perfect little getaway! The food was incredible, the hosts were so hospitable, and we had a lovely stay. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a romantic respite from the city

Lynn and Diana were the perfect hosts! We loved our room (Granary) in the barn. Had s’mores around the firepit and looked at the stars. Breakfasts were to die for! I’m still thinking about those cinnamon rolls! It was a fantastic place to celebrate with our friends!

Our two-night stay at the Inn at Sunset Mill Ranch could not have been better. First, it was easy to get to after leaving from work in San Antonio (except of course traffic out of SA). The property is secluded but only about a 15-minute drive from Wimberley, so it was easy to get to restaurants and nearby wineries. We stayed in the tack room in the Carriage House. Everything was decorated beautifully (Texana but not too much), and our room was super clean and smelled so nice and had a large bathroom (great water pressure). The grounds are lovely, and it's very quiet; the sunsets from our balcony were gorgeous (we made sure to be back for the sunsets). The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful; Diane is a great cook. She has a set menu, but she offered to cook our eggs to order if we wanted. She also sets out cookies and brownies (yum) and other goodies in the evening (self serve), and coffee and water was always available. There was a small room off our room with a fridge, water, and a coffeemaker as well. My husband and I were sitting on the patio outside the dining room the first morning and were reflecting on how great everything was, and then I said, "all we need is a dog." And sure enough, they have a dog, a sweetie named Maggie! Even in the nicest places, there's usually something that could be better; Diane and her husband take perfection seriously. There was nothing amiss, nothing out of order, nothing dirty or disorderly. It made for a truly restful weekend. They are exceptional hosts, and this is an exceptional B&B.
