Quite and comfortable with a fabulous host. Mike goes the extra mile to accommodate his guests. He offers a freshly cooked breakfast when you want it, with really good coffee. Our suite had plenty of space and provided a relaxing stay. Mike provides an extremely pet friendly atmosphere.

Beautiful B&B in a quaint mountain town. Lots of stores and dining options within a 5 min walk. The owner Mike truly cares about your experience here. Breakfast was delicious. If you have the time to hear some of Mikes stories take the time to listen. So much history!

Will definitely recommend and will be returning!

If you are looking for a quaint, homey stay with great hospitality you have found the place. We had the pleasure of staying here with our dogs and were welcomed warmly and cooked a home cooked breakfast personally for us the next morning. Thank you for such a pleasant stay.

We booked a same-day reservation on the morning of 10/6 on Priceline. We were very optimistic since this property had very high ratings.
We arrived that night at 7pm to the property looking closed with no lights on. Thankfully the lobby door was open.
We were told that they didn't know we were staying there that night because they hadn't checked the reservations that day.
Mike was very sweet and apologetic about the mix-up, but couldn't confirm our reservation that night, but got us set up in our room. Our bed had to be made in front of us. Fine, but very unusual.
In the chaos of check-in, we forgot to ask about the hot tub and WiFi, and info wasn't provided for either.
The room was in desperate need of a DEEP clean and a fresh coat of paint. Everything felt dirty and dusty. Carpet had multiple stains. TV was comically small and half-broken, but worked. Walls had a lot of nicks and dents.
The mattress on our bed was old, thin, squeaky and very uncomfortable.
Ceiling looked like it had water damage and was poorly patched.
We had a door to an adjoining room that we couldn't lock. We had to lock the hallway door on that adjoining room so that our room was secure.
Mike seems very well-intentioned, but it seems like he could use a lot of help to get this place some deserved TLC.

Overall, a very disappointing stay for the $135 price tag (including tax, etc). For the quality and cleanliness of the room, I'd expect to pay more in the $65 -$80 range.

Entered from a gravel ally. Had to go up 14 steps. Room was filthy! Path on the carpet. Duct tape on the threshold. Pulled the blinds down to get privacy and the upper half of the blinds were absolutely covered with grey dust. Had to use my suitcase for a nightstand. The outlet in the bathroom didn’t work. Upside is… if you have a heart attack dragging your luggage up the 14 steps and fall to the bottom there’s a defibrillator at the bottom. There are better options in the area!

Awesome stay, very homey environment. Clean rooms. Owner is very nice and made us feel at home and comfortable. He made us an excellent breakfast, best we ever had at a bed and breakfast. My dogs loved the stay too. Highly recommended.

Mike is an awesome host!! Very tentative, yet never in your space. My dog was welcome without extra charge. Breakfast was wonderful every morning. The hot tub was the perfect temp. He assisted with using his grill. When I need peroxide he had it readily available. Most definitely would stay here again & recommend to anyone.

Dodgron Creek is a half block off the main street in Cuchera, behind the Dog Bar. Rooms are nicely appointed, but if you want a TV you need to ask. I'd suggest setting up a check-in time with the owner. This is a BnB and there isn't a front desk. Mike does a great breakfast, so plan to take advantage of that and enjoy the area!
