I have lived here 5 years and love the complex. The management is constantly trying to improve and take care of the property. There is a good workout room, a fabulous pool(always clean), and it is a great location in Scottsdale!!

After living here for a year, I am disappointed that I purchased here. The way that residents, who pay over $400/month are treated by some board members is appalling (especially the elderly). I can honestly say it feels like throwing money away and you won't be heard at all. I would caution anyone against buying here unless you are ok with being belittled, having no choice, having board members make tacky selections about tile and flooring (while degrading residents for asking if there can be a vote on a selection), and want to be harassed and treated poorly. If you have more than one car make sure that you buy a unit that allots for the amount of cars that you own. Otherwise you will be forced to park in an ungated, secluded area where your car can be vandalized or damaged. If anything, certainly the hot summers here will certainly destroy your paint and tires. Many of the residents are kind, friendly, and welcoming; however, the board members, particularly Sharon make living at Corriente untenable.

Great location, but community has not been maintained well over last 2 years (dirty exterior spaces, dirty cushions on outdoor furniture, bldg in need of paint, etc). Worse yet, the sales staff is less than professional. As I said, only couple years old with great location, but their mgt. needs to pay attention to insidious decline.

Corriente is an active and involved community, which contrary to one review here, is actively managed and maintained - with quite nice amenities. There are always things that need attention in a condominium complex, and may not always be addressed instantly, but my experience is they are addresses over time in a cost and effort effective way at Corriente. We love it here.

Buyer Beware: Shoddy floor construction, paper thin. We live in a 2nd floor condo and we can hear every single step of our above neighbors and their dog, their footsteps shake our chandeliers. It’s awful and had we known before, we wouldn’t have moved in.

This place is great! Friendly people, outstanding location, well designed units, well maintained etc etc. For those who say otherwise ... there is always something to be negative about, and always someone willing to fly that flag.
