Bears Inn Bed and Breakfast - Evergreen, Colorado

This place is a dump. There is no hot water, there is no microwave, there may or may not be a functioning oven.
We tried drying clothes in the dryer and after 2 hours they STILL needed more time.
So much of the property is just broken, gross, or moldy.
The electricity at that place looks like it was done by a mad scientist. I cannot believe the fire Marshall allows this place to exist.

I stayed in a $80/night motel on my way to this place and the motel was soooo much nicer.

I cannot stress enough that if you stay at this property, you will regret it.

I would not send my worst enemy to this b&b. Most of the appliances dont work. Water doesn't work. The place is extremely run down. The pictures in the Google ad must be from a really long time ago.

Heed the warnings of the other reviews unlike me.

My husband and I were looking for a quick overnight getaway from Denver and stumbled upon the Bears Inn. The place is adorable with a 90 year history in the area. The room was very comfortable and the hot tub has a beautiful view. But best of all are the owners! Pete and Wendy are extremely kind and accommodating, obviously pouring a lot of love into the property. The food was incredible and I think we ate our weight in the fresh baked cookies. We highly recommend this spot and definitely plan to return.

We stayed here for our anniversary and honestly we didn't want to leave. Everything has been thought of comfy beds to the great atmosphere every room has a theme the main dining room has a private high end feel and the restaurant across the parking lot is amazing. The hot tub was the finisher like I said very relaxing didn't want to leave highly recommended.

Wonderful place to stay in Evergreen! My fiancee and I were up there for a wedding and it was a lovely and charming place that welcomed all visitors with open arms. It was our first time experiencing a Bed and Breakfast and Wendy and the team did a fantasy job! From cleanliness of our rooms to the amazing breakfast the next morning. A total 10/10 from us! Would highly recommend if you enjoy a beautiful bed and breakfast experience.

Pete and Wendy made my stay at Bears Inn incredible! They create an inviting and welcoming atmosphere at Bears Inn! From the moment I arrived, I felt personally welcomed. My room, Nantucket, was inviting and spotlessly clean, the backyard hot tub was fantastic! ||In the morning, we all enjoyed a delicious multi-course breakfast. As I was on a business trip to Evergreen, and needed to leave early for work, I inquired about having an earlier breakfast. Pete and Wendy cheerfully accommodated my request for breakfast to be served an hour earlier. I felt honored during my stay at Bears Inn! I definitely would not hesitate to stay there again, it's the best small town Bed and Breakfast I've stayed at!

Discovered this gem a bit by accident.... While we had been coming to the area for years, we never really spent the night. So finding this B&B 4 miles south of evergreen was a surprise; a very pleasant one. ||||First, Pete and Wendy are superb innkeepers. Both very friendly and open. They have great personalities and we have enjoyed talking with them at length. The breakfast is amazing; 3 courses of very nicely prepared upscale recipes masterfully executed by Pete. But come with an appetite as he doesn't hold back on the portions. ||||We stayed in the Suite and enjoyed having a nice sitting area with electric fireplace. The king bed is the best feeling bed I can remember ever sleeping on, including my own at home. But overall, from the moment you come into the Inn, the warmth and attention to details and decor is almost overwhelming; it's just so nice! Relaxing by the fireplace, all the old wood and cabinets, it's really a great venue. ||||And as noted it's only 4 miles to evergreen and well situated to reaching many hiking trails around Jefferson county. We look forward to our next visit so we can explore more places in the area.

Our stay at Bears Inn was more than we could have ever hoped for. It was cozy and charming and every space made me want to linger and sip my coffee a little longer. The breakfast was exceptional. The combination of sweet and savory choices was so well thought out and the dishes were so unique. I wanted to take home every recipe. Wendy and Pete were so attentive to our needs and yet gave us the space and privacy we were hoping for in an anniversary getaway. We will think of any excuse to get out of town just so we can come here again. We cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience here. It was everything we were wanting in an anniversary getaway.
