The room was absolutely beautiful! Barbara and Mark have put a lot of thought and effort into making your stay peaceful and cozy. As hosts, they were incredibly friendly. We felt welcome from the first moment there. I highly recommend reading through Barbara's notebook of fun facts about Lark Landing, which is there in the room for your enjoyment. She is quite the writer and her notebook is very entertaining!
The views of the Arkansas River right off our balcony were simply gorgeous. We watched 4 deer during our evening walk and there was literally another deer staring at us through the windows as we enjoyed the hot, delicious breakfast Barbara prepared for us. We sipped coffee and chatted with Barbara and Mark for quite awhile after breakfast and left there feeling like we had made new friends.

Barbara and Mark are amazing and their beautiful property was just what we needed to get away from the technology and just be surrounded by nature. The suite we stayed in is lovely, clean, and welcoming. The river running next to the suite is so relaxing. We shared a couple of glasses of wine(their treat) once we arrived and had a wonderful conversation. In the morning Barbara made us a delicious breakfast and Mark delivered our breakfast to our door in a beautiful basket. I called it the breakfast goodie basket. Later on that morning we also shared some Mimosas (our treat) while we walked around their property. Barbara has beautiful note cards and small mementos that she has available for purchase. I love note cards so I had to get a pack for my collection. The grounds are beautiful and relaxing and excited to return for another stay this summer, then we can see all the beautiful trees and plants flourishing. Grateful to have found this lovely space!

My husband & I stayed at Lark Landing for an extended weekend. All we can say is this place is AMAZING!!! Barbara & Mark were so welcoming & they take such great care of the beautiful property! The room was immaculate & the breakfasts were absolutely delicious! One of the best parts of our trip was laying in bed & listening to the sound of the river! It was so peaceful! We strongly recommend this place & will be coming back again!!!

My friend and I went over Labor day and just loved it. One had the bed and I slept on the sofa sleeper. This place is amazing, it is right on the river. The grounds and the room is so beautiful, and I want to tell everyone to go stay there, you won't regret it. Words just does not do it justice. Barbara is so fun to visit with, they are really neat people, and they have done amazing things with the property. It just outside of town, but so private. Breakfast was delicious too. Also want to note that if you go into town to the shops have lunch at Aspen's, it was really good.

We are back for the 2nd time and Lark Landing is just what we needed. The views are still amazing, the room is quiet, warm, welcoming, cozy, comfortable and relaxing. Hosts are awesome. Price is very reasonable. Homemade breakfast in a basket is excellent. The food is hot and fresh. The Swans and Geese enjoying the snow this afternoon was a real treat.

This was a fabulous place to stay for someone truly trying to get away. If you want scenery, peace and quiet, and friendly hosts. This B&B is all about that. The photos don't do the property any justice. It's by far more attractive than any of us reviewers have captured. The hosts gave us an option to eat breakfast alone in our lodging or to join them. So We joined them. Well we ended up talking for 3 hours (on two different occasions) they're stories were so interesting and we shared so much why end a great conversation. Not to mention you have to love a B&B that even Robert Redford wanted to stay in. If you visit let yourself enjoy the vacation.

Looked for a nice, quiet, comfortable place to stop on our way to Royal Gorge. I found this place on line. Luckily it was available for 1 night. This place has so many things to look at and spots to enjoy, whether in the guest house, the front yard with pond, the fire pit, a sitting area down by the Arkansas River, the deck off the room or just chilling under the shade trees. The owners have thought of everything. Dozens of nice touches. I highly recommend it. Reasonable price for what you get.

We love Lark Landing. Everything about the stay with Barbara and Mark is such a great time. They are such kind and considerate hosts. The carriage house is so comfortable, the property is beautiful, the breakfast is delicious and and company is the best. Highly recommend Lark Landing!!
