I'm in the area to visit a dear ailing friend living nearby. I enjoy walking to her place each day. Then I love returning to the serenity of Casa De Soul. Suzanne is a caring and generous host.
The communal kitchen is well-stocked and offers an option to always eating out. Also the proximity to Ventura Blvd allows access to anything I might need. Weather permitting I've enjoyed the lovely pool in the backyard! Who could ask for more!?

Can't say enough about my stay! Not only were the accommodations very comfortable, the environment and overall experience far exceeded my expectations. The host was very responsive with communication and made sure that I was comfortable. I will definitely be staying here again and will be sure to recommend it to my friends! Suzanne is a great host. She’s very responsive, answered all my questions before the actual trip. She was there to greet me when I came. Love how she has decorated her home, a very warm, inviting interior. The room I selected had a great selection of books. And she had composed a book that included a list of the local restaurants and interesting sites, and places of special interest including the distance from CasaDeSoul and a brief autobiography about her. And yes, it is a "house of soul". I would have enjoyed talking with Suzanne about her various areas of interests and activities but I was in LA to speak, so time didn't allow. Maybe next trip. The kitchen was great and easy to use. It was Nov. so I didn't go swimming but there is a pool in the back yard and a nice shady outdoor area.

I needed to be in an area with easy access to going both directions For some meetings and I found This wonderful spot that was easy comfortable even with someone else staying in another room everything seemed to have a flow state… Suzanne brought this energy into her place. It’s palpable it’s comfortable and it was lovely. My entire stay and this is the second time I’ve stayed at her place.

Suzanne's rooms are beautiful, quaint and well designed . Very comfortable with easy access to many amenities close by. Check in was simple and when I had a question she got right back to me! I would highly recommend for a family or on your own.

Awesome location and awesome stay! Suzanne was a fantastic host. There was coffee every morning and a full kitchen for use if you choose. There also a pool for use and nice little backyard area to hang out and have a coffee in. Prices are also fantastic for LA. Would stay again!

We had such a lovely night here. The room was beautiful and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. Our dog especially loved it and she has tends to be a little nervous. Thank you so much for giving us exactly what we needed! We will definitely be coming back!

Absolutely beautiful home that's very well-decorated. The owner, Suzanne, is a sweetheart. We stayed in the Paris room and it was just perfect. I highly advise staying at Casa DE Soul!
