My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and we had a lovely time! We stayed in the Schoolyard Suite and were impressed by the decor, the attention to detail, and the wonderful floor-to-ceiling map from 1914 that decorated the wall (my husband obsessed over noting historical empires and shipping routes).

The shower and bathtub were lovely with plenty of water pressure and hot water for either. Our suite had a faux fireplace which we used often, and a smart TV which we used less often. There were also some wonderful old books on the mantle about ettiquette, Winnie the Pooh, and other subjects that we enjoyed reading.

The owners were thoughtful and kind, making sure we were well cared-for while we stayed there. The breakfast each morning was delicious and made fresh! The property surrounding the houses is spacious and, located on a hill, has a view toward Eagle Mountain Lake on the North and Fort Worth on the South. We walked about and saw deer one evening.

Overall, we can't say enough good things and hope to be back soon!

We had the most enchanting stay at The Old Schoolhouse B&B. This hidden gem offers a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. The rooms are tastefully decorated with attention to every detail, ensuring a cozy and relaxing atmosphere.

The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the delicious homemade breakfast served each morning. Every bite was a delight. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make us feel at home.

The location itself is idyllic, with stunning views when you're sitting on the patio eating breakfast and watching deer. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway or a peaceful retreat, The Old Schoolhouse B&B is the ideal choice. We can't wait to return and indulge in another memorable stay.

To say this is a great place to stay or a hidden gem just doesn’t seem sufficient enough to describe our experience during our 3 night stay for my nephews’s wedding.

The feel of being a home away from home was not only surprising but extremely nice, Zan, the owner, has gone to great efforts to make sure it feels that way. Her attention to detail is phenomenal!

The surroundings are so relaxing and inviting my niece and I had to take off our sandals and walk through the lush grass like we use to when she was little and I was a teenager, while doing this she decided to attempt a cartwheel which turned out to be more of a tumble and was very unsuccessful but we laughed so hard it hurt.

No matter what we needed or asked permission to do Zan & Cash were amenable and accommodated our needs. We had friends over two nights to play cards in our room and outside the last night when the weather cooled off and permitted us to do so. We kept the noise down and cleaned up after ourselves and didn’t become rowdy or rambunctious and just had a great evening both nights. Thanks to their graciousness to allow our friends to experience this great place!

I will also say all the regular things that are important in a place to stay away from home; it was clean, the beds were very lush and comfortable, the furniture was very nice and plentiful, the linens were great with the inclusion of robes and slippers, the fridge was stocked and included with things like sparkling water, bottled water, 2-sprite, 2-coke, 2-V8 juice, sugar, stevia, creamer and coffee pods! It was a very nice and thoughtful amenity often overlooked, I’m sure!

They offered a covered parking spot for each room and ours had a lovely porch with a swing, table, chair and loveseat, very comfortable in the early morning hours with my Spotify playing and a cuppa joe while waiting on the awesome breakfast!

Zan gets up every morning to make and deliver a personal breakfast to each guest who would like it. This is also included in the accommodations! We’re not talking about powered eggs and your basics. They were made personally by Zan and she had one morning that was fruity, the next was a savory day and then the sweeter version the last morning we were there with a waffle, fruit and cream whip and all of these were wonderful and I can’t even express sufficiently how much we liked and enjoyed it! I have included a picture of one mornings offering!

The best part of our stay was the genuine love and compassion that Zan and Cash put into a very difficult business and yet somehow they make it look easy. We had the pleasure of speaking with them a few mornings and got to know each of them a little better and loved them both! Zan would easily be a person I could become long time friends with! Cash is a musician and we learned we loved the same kind of rock & roll and O hope one day he can just focus on that passion!

To sum it all up, the place is beautiful and everything great but the people are the BEST!

This is my FAVORITE place to stay in the Fort Worth area! My husband and I love getting away here! The owners are super-nice and lovely people. The accommodations and service make us feel so special every time, and it's like a home away from home. We LOVE the jacuzzi tub, and the breakfast is always wonderful as well! We will definitely be returning. 🙂

Wonderful and relaxing getaway. We stayed in the schoolyard suite, and it was gorgeous. The grounds of the B&B are lovely. One night we sat outside and enjoyed watching the deer and birds. The breakfast that was brought to us each morning was delish. Zan the host was very sweet. If we get back to the area again, I will definitely stay here again!

Zan & Cash helped make all of my special surprises for my Hubby a reality. The place is simply beautiful. Quiet and peaceful. The suites are very comfy & homey. Breakfast, delivered to our suite, was nothing short of 5 stars delicious. I highly recommend this place for a vacation or simple staycation. Go check em out, you won't regret it ?

Booked for my son's wedding! He only wanted to stay a night because he was like "what am I going to do in a hotel room for two days"! He loved it and the breakfast and even wanted to stay a third day! Great communication , adorable amenities! They also got the romance package! Would book again!
