I don’t recommend living here at all. It was only a pleasant experience due to the kind maintenance workers and great neighbors.

We had multiple issues throughout the years all well documented. Our apartment flooded 3 separate times due to a leak from the ceiling. Soaked our carpet, our furniture and some of our belongings and it always took forever to get it fixed. It happened a month before we moved out and NO ONE even bothered to respond to our maintenance request.

We submitted around 10 maintenance requests for air conditioning before anything was actually done. My average electric bill for a 800 sq ft apt was $250 a month prior to the AC being finally replaced. The rent might be more affordable than other places on paper but it all adds up with these old buildings.

Our elevator broke frequently and wasn’t fixed for months at a time.

The bugs are horrendous in this area and they let the grass grow super long. Walking your dog means you’re in for at least 5-6 mosquito bites.

Most importantly, when we moved out they only sent $182 of our security deposit back with ZERO explanation on why and no itemized list of deductions. It took us two months to have anyone even respond to our requests for an explanation. It’s not only against the law, but against their OWN lease agreement that we have written proof of.

Do not move into this complex! I will start with the problems outside. The washer and dryer are very small and old. They broke down after 5 months of living there, they fixed it, but now it shakes a lot when working. They use the cheapest materials. The lock on the balcony door broke, they fixed it, but the lock stopped working again after 2 weeks. My husband said not to even fill out a request, he would do it himself. The toilets are very old and wobbly, I wrote about this when I checked in, but this issue was ignored. The grills at one of the pools have not worked for several months. We celebrated my daughter's birthday, I made a request in advance so that they could change the gas in the grill. They closed the request, but did not change it. When we contacted the office, they said that they simply did not work. They opened the second pool after a complete renovation. They suggested celebrating the birthday there. As a result, guests arrived on Saturday at 3 pm. At 4 pm, the office closed and they closed the toilets!!! This is against all Florida laws! Our house is more than 200 foot from the pool. It's horrible! We had to take the kids home to use the bathroom. I will be contacting the Florida Department of Health about this. Also, when I asked the office manager why they closed the bathroom, they were very rude. No respect for their residents. The gates have been open for months, they just don't work. No security!

I've seen some negative reviews about the Maintenance staff on here and wanted to share my latest experience. I have lived in this community for several years. The leasing office staff have always been great to work with. The Maintenance staff has Always gone above and beyond the call of duty. Every time I have put in a service request on the App (whether for my A/C, Toilet or a water leak) they have quickly responded and rectified any of my issues. Today I really felt like they took it to the next level. I had notified them that the grout in my shower had been worn out and exposed as well as the caulking had gone bad. I really expected that this would be a low priority item for them (maybe even ignored) especially with the cleanup from the storms but much to my surprise Yuniel showed up today and spent a few hours totally renovating my shower. It looks brand new. Yuniel really went above and beyond. His supervisor Luis was here as well checking in and overseeing the whole operation. These guys are Great!! These Maintenance guys have a very thankless job and I just felt compelled to shine some light on these guys as they BOTH have always been quick to help me whenever i have had an issue. Thank You Luis and Yuniel.

This complex has the worst maintenance I've ever dealt with. For 2K rent and above, the tenant shouldn't be waiting for weeks to get something fixed. My first encounter was when our AC went out and it took them close to 3 weeks to replace it. I work from home, so imagine dealing with that.
My second encounter is happening now, when I'm waiting close to a month for my washer. They finally put in a new unit, but guess what, its not working properly. It seems like all they know how to do is ride around the complex in golf carts. You have to constantly remind them to get anything done, through calling, emailing, and showing up.
Also, the maintenance doesn't speak English, so communication is problematic.
In the end, there's good business and bad business. For 2K and above, there are plenty of places that will meet their tenants needs.

Our guide Erick was extremely helpful and friendly. Answered all of our questions and showed us around the beautiful community. He was super patient with us as we had to make a quick trip to our current resident to get my spouses ID as well. Can't wait to be apart of this amazing community!!

Even though I did not decide to go with Sheridan for my living situation, I still wanted to give a review for my experience in the touring process. Although short, from beginning to end, Mr. Erick was a pleasure to work with. We instantly clicked and practically felt like family in such a short time. He showed me great hospitality and the tour was great. I am very thankful to him and Sheridan for the experience given to me in such a short time. I wish them well in the future!

Regrettably, the process of vacating this premises has proved to be exceedingly challenging.

I am writing to formally address concerns regarding the move-out statement I have received. Upon review, I noticed charges for carpet replacement, as well as double billing for amenities, water, and sewer services. I kindly request that you provide the evidence justifying these charges.

Previously, I discussed this matter with Susan, after which she mentioned a supervisor would contact me. Regrettably, I have yet to receive any follow-up despite sending five emails requesting clarification.

The only response thus far insinuates my objection to the deductions without providing the necessary evidence.
Additionally, for a period of nine months, I was billed for amenities that were not operational. Specifically:
- The security gate was consistently left open.
- The main pool was closed, and the secondary pool was often occupied by Airbnb guests.
- The gym equipment was only partially functional.

Given these circumstances, I would like to know if a credit will be issued to reflect these inconveniences.

Lastly, no one ever answers the phone. The customer service is poor, and it's frustrating to see that when you walk in, no one is doing anything.

Initially, I spoke with Susana, who informed me that she would discuss my issue with Roxana Orges, the Community Director. Unfortunately, I did not receive any follow-up communication after that discussion.
I reached out once again, and Roxana informed me that I had been charged. I want to emphasize that I had explicitly notified them via email that I did not authorize this charge from my deposit. Despite this, the charge was still processed.
Given the lack of resolution, I have repeatedly asked to speak with someone other than Roxana or Susana regarding this matter, but my request has not been fulfilled.
I would appreciate it if someone else from your team could address this issue as soon as possible.

Not a family-friendly or dog-friendly community. Management neglects to perform their basic duties. There are ten (10) streetlights that don’t function. Missing canopies at the pool decks, dozens of stray cats, and a vagrant who sleeps outside building 28. Highmark posts reviews of their maintenance team to google as though the resident reviewed the property, not the maintenance. Disingenuous. So much mold. Simply not a safe place to live ?
