This place has the worst management. When I had problems with the manger on site I contacted Liza from the main office. Had the worst attitude I almost felt like I had to put my foot down because she tried making me feel like the bad guy. Tried belittling me . I had a mold problem and they always denied it. Saying it was discoloration. My child was getting sick and that’s the only reason they offered a new apartment. Plus health department had to come and order it. So call them to get things done because the office and main office will not. They will just move you to a model room while they paint over mold and use your own electricity to dry up paint. When I left I had the same problem with the new apartment rented to me. The whole apartment complex is rotting and all they do is paint over it. You let me know if this is “discoloration or MOLD” even my kids doctor said they had traces of mold in their system

It doesn't surprise me that I'm reading other former residents of this complex citing being robbed of their security deposit by this establishment. We recently just moved out of this area excited to get away from a management company that clearly overcharges for their abnormally small apartments, but we had put forth great effort to clean and cleanse our apt in hopes of receiving a good portion of our deposit back. Instead, we were charged for new blinds, a new sink, re-painting of all doors in the apt, more extensive cleaning, "repairs" that aren't even clearly detailed in the notice that accompanied our remaining deposit funds. Disappointing, we lived here 4 years and the complex showed us no appreciation or a sense of wanting to keep us as residents. If you drive by, you'll see continuous turnaround, meaning people are moving out, and rightfully so.

Don't live here.

These apartments are pretty good as apartments go. I lived here for one year, but the prices went up a lot and were too expensive even with the 12 month lease discount. Management is nice, they text which is cool. Things got fixed pretty fast, same day or next day. They didn't try to rip me off with my deposit, they barely took any out and I got the rest back a month after leaving. The gym is too small and not air conditioned, if someone else is there or comes in you might as well leave.

The biggest issue was roaches. They will always be around for like half the year when it's warm. In the winter there are none at all. They will spray for them, but it does nothing. There's a lot even if you keep it super clean.
I literally set my bagel on the floor for 30 seconds to grab the remote and there was a roach crawling on it. One crawled on me in my sleep once. Traps dont do much either. My Keurig got infested.

I still think it was a pretty good place to live since I think most apartments have roaches. Management pretty much leaves you alone, sometimes they come into the apt for maintenance but the maintenance guy is chill.
They have a security guy who does patrols so that's nice.

I didn't use the pools more than a couple times. They don't look very clean. My neighbors were nice and everyone minded their own business but was friendly. Apartments are nice inside, mine was remodeled. There's no reserved parking, so if you get home late you might have to park a bit far away. I wouldn't live there very long term. The month to month price was up to $1,025 when I left. And the 12 month lease price went up like $40 after my year lease. They dont require you to have any rent history, but you pay extra like $500 deposit if you don't meet a Certain income requirement.

Enter at your own risk. Rules? What rules.... Lease guidelines? Not enforced. Management turnover has gone for the worst over the years. Lack of experience seems to be the trend.
I've been a tenant for several years and as of today... repairs, safety and health factors are ignored. I have even had to go to my doctor for help a couple of times because management doubted my health concerns, obtaining a dr's note to get any action was necessary.
Phone calls, voicemails and emails are also tough to get any acknowledgment. A person has to get confrontational with management to even get a "maybe" regarding basic living conditions. Even then, they're still often neglected. Currently, I've been waiting two months for a simple repair.
Complaints? "Call security," a non existent entity, or "Call the cops," tenants are told. Rowdy neighbors thrive without repercussion. Homeless have free access. Drug use apparent while even entering the main gate. Recently, one of their own employees admitted to rampant drug use among the apartment's tenants.
Crime? Their own newsletter constantly outlines precautions to take and offers advice in avoiding the consistent "theft." Heck, during an actual repair, maintenance had his own tools stolen... during daylight hours, parked just outside that unit!
There was a time when Lakeridge was a very nice place to live. However, I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone.
Hey, I hate to bash anyone, but I've tried working with management for months, even with the owner. I've talked to a few neighbors. I'm not alone in this Lake Ridge Yelp bash... I actually thought my days of living in areas of low income and high crime were behind me. But, Lake Ridge has become a high-priced, management-neglected - mediocre apartment complex.

Unassigned parking is ridiculously limited so having 2 cars was extremely frustrating. One night someone was parked in our spot and no unoccupied spots nearby and when security was called (after checking with our building neighbors making sure it wasn't one of their visitor's car) we were told all they could do was put a note on the car as a notice. The inside of the apartment was pretty cheap. The tub was a joke, instead of replacing the bathtub they decided to paint it white to make it look new. As soon as we moved in ofcourse the paint started to peel off. Other parts of the apartment were painted as if no tape was used to make it look neat. The kitchen cabinets were clearly not cleaned as we found an old picture in one of the cabinets of some old lady. (It was not small so it would be hard to miss). If we were expecting a package and a delivery person didn't want to drive to your door they leave it at the main office but ofcourse the office does not notify you if you received something there so you just have to make an attempt to reach someone during business hours to check if something is there for you and to pick it up as well. The USPS service there is terrible as we had 3 outgoing envelopes get lost as well as 2 incoming packages get lost (tracking said it was delivered by them in parcel locker but no key was in our mailbox and when we happened to see the mail guy there he told us he couldn't do anything about it or check the parcel locker for us unless we had the key so we had to call customer service) Apartment size was pretty small as well but it was just me and my fiance so it wasn't too bad.

(prior) resident. Lots of change. No issues initially. Was profiled and questioned by new staff after issues in or near my unit building, I won’t move back because of feeling uncomfortable and unsafe after almost 3 years there (because of staff, never the residents!) no move out issues, only received partial deposit return but itemized bills of service were provided and indicated services charged for (cleaning, shampooed carpet, etc.) I wouldn’t personally refer anyone I know there but overall not a terrible place to live.

This place has gone downhill. Management is raising prices, drastically , on all tenants who don't even have any upgraded features like other apartments in the complex.
Also, when we first moved in, we were told we have 1 assigned parking. They recently took away all assigned parking so anyone can park anywhere. But I haven't received a new rental agreement stating this change.
So late at night if someone is in my spot I have to park further away and walk to my place at night.
Security here is ridiculous. My boyfriend parked his truck under the carport next to the apartment building and we woke up to see someone tried breaking into his truck. Security was no where to be found.
Taking complaints to management is pointless. All they say is there is nothing they can do and to take it up with corporate management.

Can't wait to finally move out of this place!

I lived here from 1999 to 2014. I saw a lot of changes during those 15 years. Some good and some bad. I looked up the complex today I and I saw a picture that was taken at least six years ago. The picture had my car in it. I am amazed that the complex is using a picture that is at least six years old. I would guess that management is stuck in the past!
