We loved our stay at Buffalo Peaks Lodge. Paz is a welcoming and caring host who provided a delicious breakfast both mornings we were there. Our room was wonderful and looked out on the yard. Extra bonus: deer in the yard early morning and evening. If our travels bring us this way again we will definitely book again.

Buffalo Peaks Lodge is a hidden gem in Buena Vista! The place is spotless, peaceful, and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The atmosphere is cozy, and it truly felt like a home away from home. One of the highlights was the delicious breakfast prepared by Paz—absolutely scrumptious and made with care. The conversations with Paz and other guests were a delight, making the experience even more memorable. I left feeling refreshed and already looking forward to visiting again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a charming getaway in the mountains!

This weekend, we stayed at Buffalo Peaks Lodge in Buena Vista and had a really lovely time. The lodge offers a cozy, rustic charm with stunning views of the Collegiate Peaks. Our room was comfortably furnished, and featured a delightful loft sleeping area that worked well for us. Paz was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. Breakfast was a highlight with delicious, homemade options that set us up perfectly for a day of rafting. This lodge truly felt like a home away from home.

Such a lovely restful stay. Beautiful rooms, grounds, views. The owner gave just the right amount of check in to make sure we were well taken care of. Wonderful personal touches and ambience. Will make it a tradition to come back.

This is a gem in Buena Vista! It is located in a quiet cul-de-sac and just minutes away from downtown restaurants. The rooms are comfortable and decorated with an authentic Colorado feel. The breakfasts are hearty and on time. The hostess, Paz, is delightful and very accommodating. We will be back!

My mom and I stayed for a night! We loved it. Beautiful home with a beautiful yard. Paz was an amazing host! Her breakfast was delicious her hospitality was top tier. The bed was heaven, and the peacefulness was amazing! I didn't want to leave. Definitely will be back!

We stayed at this beautiful lodge for 8 days in July 2024. The lodge is homey and comfortable. Everything was immaculate. The grounds are extremely well kept. Its located on a private road near a golf course. We woke up to deer in the front yard, a squirrel knocking on our window, and humming birds feeding.

We stayed in the Oxford room and loved it. Breakfast was good. The owner, Baz, is super friendly and accommodating. She lives on property, is always present, and makes sure everyone is well taken care of. Most importantly, my wife also loved Buffalo Peaks Lodge... ;+)

This was our first visit and we will return.

Paz was an incredible host! Comfortable beds & clean rooms. Our family really enjoyed getting to have a home cooked breakfast with Paz. We will definitely stay again next time we are in the area.
