What a charming, romantic, unique place to stay! I love that each room has a different theme with handcrafted elements. My only negative experience was our bathroom was on the small side and the toilet was really close to the wall, which my tall husband (and even myself) found unconformable.

The daily breakfasts have all been so delicious and perfectly sweet, a great start before heading out to explore the area. The owners take a moment to chat with you and really make you feel taken care of, which is such a treat when you're on vacation.

Look for the pig tree to find a special treat 🙂

This is absolutely one of the best B&Bs I have ever stayed at! It is a 7-acre property with lots of little areas to sit and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The owners are so nice and friendly and provide so many extra perks. Each room is unique and we loved ours. It was clean, the bed was good with comfortable bedding. The complementary breakfast is 5-star with homemade hot and cold items each morning...and every morning is different. It's not in the old town area but is less than a two mile drive through some nice neighborhoods. We only stayed two nights and it felt like it wasn't enough to enjoy this gem. If you need to relax and unwind, this space is definitely one to check out. If you'll be doing sightseeing, maybe just add a day to enjoy the peace and quiet. And be sure to read the story about how the current owners took over for the previous ones. It's quite heartwarming.

We stayed in a Casita which is located a little downhill from the main property. We didn’t love the location which is next to a prairie dog field. The casita itself was roomy and nicely furnished with a lovely outdoor patio which faced the main building. We enjoyed planning our day from here. Some important details lacking which included only two bed pillows on the king bed, no sponge in the kitchen or a pot to warm food up and the TV was so old it had lines across it. While the inside of the Casita was very clean, the windows were so dirty my husband asked for windex to clean the panes on the French doors. No follow up about this or apology. And there were no extras such as afternoon cookies or lemonade or any of that. On the positive side is the property is dog friendly. The kitchen chefs were delightful and very accommodating to dietary preferences. We had a delicious quiche one day and a frittata on another. The gardens and seating by the main building were lovely. Overall, we enjoyed our time at a reasonable price..

This is the best place (of hotels or bnbs) we've stayed in Taos over the past 50 years. We are New Mexicans and it has a ambiance of true NM and Taos charm. We liked the Pinon casita very much. The breakfasts are delightful and the room in which they are served is charming and preserves your privacy (no big tables where guests have 'forced' intimacy)...

We discovered this magical place on the recommendation of a friend. From the moment we stepped on the property it was calm and relaxing. I loved the special key and attention to details in our room and throughout the property! The attention to details is felt everywhere you go.
The next morning I met Sarah as she was preparing our amazing breakfast. She has a love of this special place and serving others that is unmatched at any property I’ve ever been. We can’t wait for our next visit to Taos and we will certainly be visiting the Old Taos Guesthouse anytime we do!

This is a very nice older property on the outskirts of town. Very well run by two nice ladies. Rooms nice and very clean. Definitely need a vehicle and nothing is within walking distance except an ice cream shop. And a GPS would be very helpful. I would definitely stay here again. Breakfast is included.

This is a hidden treasure in the heart of Taos, NM. Beautiful historic hacienda with fresh modern fittings layered upon the authentic and undisturbed structure. Low pretense and quiet with beautiful views of the sacred Taos Mountain and the Rio Grand Gorge Valley. Wonderful New Mexican breakfast and hospitality.
